Outside the perimeter belongs to the creatures. It is cold, dirty and barren – nearly everything that roams there is hungry and desperate. Refugees are forbidden from leaving the safety of the fort. Corps may only leave while performing assigned duties.

The cities are a dangerous place, most of the Shells make their 'homes' there. Unfortunately, the cities are the only places to find many of the supplies that are needed.

Currently, the perimeter is secured by an 8 foot tall chainlink fence but work crews are building a stronger fence within that one in order to better protect the base.

Fort Jenner isn't terribly large as far as training facilities go but it does have ample room for many buildings. Within this forum you can find different places within the Fort.

Fort Jenner's three barracks have been separated out to house each of the following groups: Corps, Norms and Abnormals. The only exception has been for small children where the parent is allowed to bunk in whatever dorm their child is assigned. The buildings are not fancy and consist 3 levels, each separated by a long hall with rooms down each side. The rooms are set up with 4 bunks and bedding. For every 2 rooms there is one bathroom but they are only function between 6am-7am and 9pm-10pm.

Medical and research facilities are sparse but construction on them is constant. The base is doing what they can to improve on conditions.

Various construction projects are underway to improve life within the Fort. Their major project at the moment consists of building cabins to move refugees into. Each cabin will be equipped with in floor heating. Other projects include building of a greenhouse, working on windmills to power specific buildings and a hockey rink for moral.
